Current COVID Safety Policies in Carnegie Hall


Vaccine

Audience needs to be fully vaccinated (14 days out of the last series of shots). Booster unnecessary.


Performers and production staff need to be fully vaccinated (14 days out of the last series of shots).

  • Booster is no longer required for performers

  • All children under 5 are not allowed in the building.

TESTING

  • All wind/brass, singers, speakers must supply proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event in addition to proof of full vaccination. This is regardless of mask wearing.

  • The piano and string performers do not need to provide PCR test results if they wear masks on the stage.

  • Any other stage participant who wishes to remove their mask, must supply proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event.

  • Production staff cannot remove their mask so no need to supply test.

  • Performer who has had a recent positive COVID infection within 90 days can opt out of the testing requirement if they supply either:

    • Test result

    • Doctor’s note that specifically states date of positivity

MASKING

  • All who enter the building, must wear a mask at all times.

  • Only performers who have provided a negative PCR test can remove their masks.

  • Performers who have provided proof of a recent positive COVID test within 90 days may also remove their masks.
